Description

The Tuff Built Sleeve for davit attachment is a crucial accessory that extends the utility of the Tuff Built Forklift Work Access Baskets (SKUs 30501 and 30494). Its core function is to provide a secure mounting point for a separate davit arm and its associated winch/SRL system. This allows the forklift basket to function not only as an elevated work platform but also as the base for confined space entry/retrieval operations. By quickly and securely attaching to the basket, it enables rescue personnel to use the elevated position of the basket as a staging platform for safely lifting or lowering workers and equipment into or out of confined spaces adjacent to the forklift’s position.
